Meet your expert local guide as you step off the train in Frascati. 

After a short 30 min. train ride from Rome, you’ll arrive in the heart of the Roman wine country and meet your local guide who will show you the most beautiful, authentic, and quintessential sites in Frascati. 

On your tour of Historic Frascati, visit one of the last wood-burning pizza ovens in Frascati, fueled by chestnut branches that create a delicious smoky aroma that fills the piazza. Enjoy the fresh air, cool breeze and beautiful view of Rome in the distance.

Just five ingredients are all you need to make an Italia-approved pizza dough. Let our master Pizzaiolo guide you through the steps to crafting a picture (and flavor) perfect Italian pizza with the ideal toppings, and guide it into the oven like a pro with a flat pizza shovel.

Enjoy your pizza with various local specialties, great company, and three local DOC wines. 

When your pizza is ready,  enjoy it paired with local seasonal vegetables, Roman pasta and more! While you enjoy the fruits of your labor, you’ll learn about the local prizewinning wines: Frascati Superiore DOCG and Red Vagnolo IGT (don’t worry, you’ll learn what all those initials mean!) from your guide, who is an ONAV licensed wine taster. 

The grand finale? A local limoncello or grappa, the perfect end to any Italian meal. Buon Appetito!

Tuesday through Saturday departure from Termini 3:54pm (one hour later in July and August)

Duration: Approx. 6 Hours (including travel time)

• Please note that due to current local Covid-19 measures, all customers will be required to bring and wear a mask during the entire visit. 
• Temperature checks may also take place at tour venues; if your temperature is above 37.5°C you will unfortunately not be able to attend the tour.

Terms and conditions: 

• Changes and cancellation are possible free of charge up to 96 hours before the start time. If the desired change involves a tour of greater value, the balance will be due upon rebooking.
• Any cancellations made within 96 hours and no-shows are non-refundable.
• Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by at least one adult to join a tour or an activity.
