Papal Audience Experience and Vatican Museums
From USD $150.00
  • Duration: 4 Hours (approx.)
  • Product code: CF-PAPVTN
About the Tour:

Since he was elected Pope, Francis I—who is known for his close interaction with congregants—has drawn record crowds to the Papal Audience held each Wednesday in the Vatican City. While tickets to attend the Papal Audience are free, organizing the trip can be difficult. Our special-access program takes the hassle out of the process—by picking up your tickets, guiding you to the best possible seats, and giving you expert background information that will help you best appreciate the Pope’s prayers, hymns, and blessings.

What We Love About This Tour:

  • Savoring the once-in-a-lifetime experience of seeing Pope Francis in person
  • The ease of having your Papal Audience tickets—and a seat near The Pope—secured for you
  • Guidance from an English-speaking expert in Papal history

Testimonial:

“Our guide was extremely knowledgeable. She was able to explain 2,000 years of Roman, Italian, Christian history in one hour… and kept it very interesting and entertaining! Furthermore she was able to secure a seat so that we were less than two feet away from the Pope!”

Tour Itinerary:

After meeting your guide at 7:45 a.m. at Piazza Pio XII, you’ll be ushered through St. Peter’s Square to your spot—specially chosen to be close to the Pope as he passes by. While you wait, your guide will inform you about the traditions and history of the Papacy (using headsets so you can hear above the noise of the crowds). When Pope Francis takes the stage, you’ll get to watch as he and his Cardinals say give homilies and blessings, and join in with hymns and prayers in several languages.
