Depart Florence where you’ll meet your professional tour leader. You will board a comfortable coach and relax on the scenic journey to the most beautiful villages and landscapes of Cinque Terre National Park (a world-heritage protected by UNESCO since 1997) which are Manarola, Vernazza, Monterosso and Riomaggiore. Your guide will introduce you to this spectacular corner of Italy, famous for its panorama, its wine, its food, beautiful sea and hiking opportunities.

The visit begins in Manarola, a picture-postcard village of painted houses leaning one against the other and surrounded by vineyards and olive groves.

Transfer by a 10 minutes train ride to Vernazza, considered the “Pearl of Cinque Terre.” Enjoy some free time to sit on the tiny harbor and relax, breathing in the atmosphere of this unique area out of time.  

Next, head to Monterosso by train, known for its lovely beaches and lush vegetation. You will have free time to plunge into the crystal sea and sunbathe. If you choose to include lunch, a delicious and fresh seafood meal, cooked the Ligurian way will be served with wine in a typical restaurant.

Make a final stop in the southernmost village of Riomaggiore where you will be given some free time to look at the boats in the marina, and stroll the colorful streets and admire the pastel-colored buildings. 

Important to Know:

  • Please note that due to current Coronavirus, the Italian Government's directives and safety policies, all customers will be required to bring and wear it’s own mask during the entire visit. Temperature checks will also take place at tour venues; if your temperature is above 37.5°C you will unfortunately not be able to attend the tour.

  • Please be sure to arrive at the tour departure point 20 minutes before the starting time. Guests arriving after departure cannot be accommodated, and missed tours or tickets will not be refunded.

  • Unfortunately, wheelchairs and strollers cannot be accommodated on this tour.

  • In case of bad weather or rough sea the boat will not be operational. In this case the boat trip will be replaced by a train route. 

  • Kindly note that the bus will drop you off in the first village of Cinque Terre National Park or in La Spezia. Then you will move from one village to the other by train or boat. You will meet again your bus by the end of the day to make your way back to Florence.

Important to Bring: 

  • Good walking shoes. The tour includes both hillside paths and stairs.

  • A hat, sunscreen, and bottled water. Many parts of the itinerary are not shaded.

Terms and conditions: 

  • You can cancel or modify your tour date and time up to 96 hours before arrival/ departure free of charge. If your tour modification is of greater value, you are subject to the price increase. 

  • Any cancellations made within 96 hours and no-shows are non-refundable.

  • Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by at least one adult to join a tour or an activity.

  • Bookings are subject to place and language availability. During our tours, the official guides and Accompanying Services could be performed in various languages.
