Take in stunning views over the Bay of Naples from the top of Mount Vesuvius.
Mount Vesuvius, one of the few active volcanoes in Europe. Here you can take a short walk up to the steaming crater for views of Capri and Sorrento.
Mount Vesuvius is closed during the winter. During this time your coach will follow the coastline to Naples, where you can explore the city’s iconic Castel Nuovo, art deco Umberto I Gallery, or stroll through the monumental Plebiscito Square.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
You can access the Crater by stamping your ticket at the automatic gates you can find at Piazzale di Quota 1000. You need to stamp your ticket when entering and exiting.
Entry through the automatic gate is allowed from half an hour before to half an hour after the selected time slot.
LATE ARRIVALS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED IN AND THE TICKET VALUE WILL NOT BE REFUNDED.
According to the current regulations against Covid-19, from 10 January 2022 admission is allowed only to visitors owning a valid Digital Covid Certificate “Super Green Pass” complete with QR Code (vaccination certificate or recovery certificate confirming the holder has recovered from Covid-19), to be provided at the entrance together with an identity document. The Digital Covid Certificate “Super Green Pass” is required to all visitors over the age of 12 (visitors under 12 years old do not need any documentation to access the exhibition spaces).

If your body temperature is above 37.5°C when measured on the spot, or if you are experiencing flu symptoms, please return home.

Entry is staggered, group of 50 people every 10 minutes, so booking is compulsory.
