About the Tour:

Florence is a perfect destination for bicycling: mostly flat, crisscrossed by small avenues where buses can’t go, and filled with gorgeous landmarks and neighborhoods that are wonderful to explore alfresco. This half-day tour—great for families, or those who have just arrived in Florence—provides an ideal way to learn your way around the city and touch on its most important highlights. It also includes a “must do” visit to Florence’s main attraction at the Galleria of the Accademia: Michelangelo’s iconic David. Accompanying you will be an expert, English-speaking guide, whose knowledge of the city and its art will enrich your exploration.

Tour Itinerary:

We’ll jump right in starting with an up close view of famous David sculpture.  Admire it and many other of Michelangelo’s famous works.   The Accademia Gallery is home to many other masterpieces, both paintings and sculptures, from the Middle Ages to Renaissance, by the greatest artists, like Botticelli, Paolo Uccello, Andrea del Sarto and many more, which you will discover with your knowledgeable English-speaking guide.

After a 30 minute break you’ll  ride through the narrow streets of the main center and the Oltrarno reaching the most amazing monuments of Florence and unknown spots from where to admire the city: Santa Maria Novella, the artisans district, Palazzo Pitti, San Frediano, Ponte Vecchio (the old bridge), the Uffizi square,  Santa Croce, Piazza della Signoria, the medieval district, the Duomo, and Piazza della Repubblica...

Relax, enjoy the tour and even taste a wonderful Gelato in the Oltrarno district! (included) Our guides will help you discover the most of the "cradle of the Renaissance" in less time and in the funniest way.. simply perfect as an introduction as well as for veterans.

Important to Know:

• Families with children are welcome to join the tour! Child seats, trailers, and helmets are available on request.
  

• Children must be at least 9 years old to ride independently; those younger than 9 may ride on a tandem bike, or in a child seat, with a parent.

• Please note that due to current Coronavirus, the Italian Government's directives and safety policies, all customers will be required to bring and wear it’s own mask during the entire visit. Temperature checks will also take place at tour venues; if your temperature is above 37.5°C you will unfortunately not be able to attend the tour.

• Please be sure to arrive at the tour departure point 20 minutes before the starting time. Guests arriving after departure cannot be accommodated, and missed tours or tickets will not be refunded.

• Please let us know in advance of any special needs or impaired mobility of the clients and we will do our best to accommodate them.

• Even with the skip-the-line entrances, there are still compulsory security checks which may cause some delays in entering the museum.

• Big bags, liquid bottles, and large umbrellas will not be allowed inside the museums (ok small foldable umbrellas).

Terms and conditions: 

• You can cancel or modify your tour date and time up to 96 hours before arrival/ departure free of charge. If your tour modification is of greater value, you are subject to the price increase. 

• Any cancellations made within 96 hours and no-shows are non-refundable.

• Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by at least one adult to join a tour or an  activity.
