Tour Itinerary:

Stop 1: Siena

After meeting your group in Florence, you’ll board your private and comfortable coach for the hour-long ride
to Siena—a compact city whose architectural beauty and artistic culture rivals that of much larger cities. Here, you’ll take part in a guided walking tour of the city’s highlights—including its main square, Piazza del Campo, where the exhilarating Palio horse race that takes place each year. Before leaving Siena, you’ll also get to sample some of the city’s distinctive sweet treats at an exclusive tasting.

Stop 2: San Gimignano

The stunning medieval hilltop town of San Gimignano, with its soaring towers, fortress-like walls and winding streets, is your group’s next destination. You'll have time here to independently explore the town's charms—including its picturesque piazzas, tower houses, and 12th-century Duomo.

Stop 3: Lunch at a Chianti Wine Estate

You'll get to sample some of Tuscany's most distinctive flavors—literally—with your next visit, to a graceful noble villa in the growing region of Chianti. Here, you'll learn about the area's viticulture with a vineyard and cellar tour, and enjoy a lunch of delicious local dishes with paired wines.

Stop 4:  Pisa

The historical showpiece of the city of Pisa is the Piazza dei Miracoli (Miracle Square), a grand, UNESCO-listed plaza anchored by a dazzling medieval baptistery and cathedral—along with its uniquely tilting campanile, better known as the Leaning Tower of Pisa. You'll have the opportunity to purchase tickets here to climb the tower steps (but only if time permits).

Stop 5: Lucca

Your Tuscan adventure will culminate with a visit to the enchanting medieval hilltop town of Lucca. One of the highlights here is the Piazza dell'Anfiteatro—a bustling open plaza that was once an ancient Roman amphitheater. Before starting your trip back to Florence, you'll enjoy an aperitivo with your group in one of the piazza's many alfresco cafes.
