Stop 1: Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie
Your tour begins with a visit to Milan’s most famous attraction: Leonardo da Vinci’s painted masterpiece, The Last Supper. Hidden away inside the 15th-century Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie, this wall mural famously depicts Jesus at a table with his 12 apostles, at the moment when he revealed one of them would betray him. While lines to see this iconic painting can sometime stretch for hours, your group will get special access to enter and spend 15 minutes alone with it.
Stop 2: La Scala
Your next stop will be “Teatro Alla Scala ” the World famous opera and Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II.
Stop 3: Milan Duomo and Rooftop
Your tour culminates at the Duomo, Milan’s spectacular, multi-spired Gothic cathedral that dominates its skyline. As you approach, you’ll learn all about how this vast building—the largest Gothic cathedral in the world—took more than 600 years to build. Once inside, you’ll also take the elevator to its dazzling, statuary-lined rooftop, whose views over the city are jaw-dropping. Includes your ticket to Baptistery of S. - Please be sure to arrive at the tour departure point 15 minutes before the starting time. Guests arriving after departure cannot be accommodated, and missed tours or tickets will not be refunded.
- Unfortunately, wheelchairs and strollers cannot be accommodated on this tour.
- Please note that photography is prohibited inside the Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie and the Duomo. Photography is permitted on all other parts of the tour.
Important to Bring:
- A small purse or camera bag only (no backpacks or large shoulder bags). Security checks at some sites restrict the size of bags that can be brought inside.
- Clothing that covers your knees and shoulders. Entry into the Duomo and Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie requires adherence to these dress codes.
- Good walking shoes, a hat, and sunscreen. The tour includes approximately three hours of walking, in many areas that are unshaded.
